About

My name is Jen Wittlin.

I moved to Brooklyn in September 2010 after living in Boston for 15 years.  I love the endless exploring that New York provides.  I am a social worker in the child welfare field.  I spend a lot of time thinking about social justice issues.  I am interested in food and farming.  I have recently started learning how to preserve and pickle the local harvest.  I search out restaurants that will make my taste buds explode.  I use my hands to make as many things as possible.  I knit, sew and make collages.  But primarily, I take pictures.  Photography is how I keep myself sane.  This blog will be the intersection of all of these things.

Thank you for visiting.

I would love to hear from you.  My email is jennifer.wittlin [at] gmail [dot] com
